Some of my fave free books

websize animated*****Contest closed – congratulations, Carol!*****

Another post on finding free ebooks, only this time, I’ve got a few of my favorite freebies for you!

If you love urban fantasy or paranormal romance, you should check out Kate Baray’s Lost Library series. The first in series is free! I love her fun writing style and the unique take she has on a lot of paranormal themes. She doesn’t just have the same old story line going on, which is why I go back to her books again and again. Check her out here: Lost Library first in series free. Oh, and if you’re looking for a cool quick read, she’s got these little books she does that are like television episodes. Each is maybe an hour long read but a complete story not a cliff hanger. Perfect for your lunch break or before bed! There isn’t any romance in the Spirelli Paranormal Investigations stories, but I really love them for a quick read. Check out the first Spirelli Investigations free here.

One of my favorite free books of all time introduced me to the amazing Ruth Cardello! She’s not only one of my favorite authors, she’s now become a friend! Check out Maid for the Billionaire free and see if you love her alpha heroes and strong heroines as much as I do! Grab this free ebook here: Maid for the Billionaire. Oh, and this one is a first in series free, too so you’ll have a whole series to read if you love this one.

Another of my favorite authors is Bev Pettersen. She writes romantic suspense novels that all take place behind the scenes at racetracks. I used to ride horses when I was younger and I love the way Bev can bring me back so vividly to the horse world. Right down to the taste of the coffee and smell of egg sandwiches at a horse show or the sound of a horse breathing heavily in an otherwise silent night. It’s really amazing how she brings it all to life. She doesn’t have a first in series free book, but several of her novels are free for Kindle Unlimited users. You can check her out here: Bev Pettersen.

Toni Anderson writes romantic suspense that keeps me flipping pages much too late into the night!!!! Check out the first in free of her Cold Justice Series here. I love it!

Looking to laugh? Nobody makes me laugh like the incomparable Robyn Peterman. One of these days I’ll get to meet her in person. I can’t tell you how much I’ll hug and kiss her when I do. I’ll fangirl hard. HAAAAAAAAARD. I’m sure it will be pretty. You can find one of her first in series free books here: Fashionably Dead. Or check out her free ebook, Ready to Were in the Shift Happens series (a series I helped her name!!!).

Okay, one more before I go: the amazing JM Madden. No one writes heroes like JM. I love them! Check out her first in series free book, Embattled Hearts. I dare you not to fall for her men. I DARE YOU!

Don’t forget, if you want to try a starter pack of my books free, you can join my reader list and I’ll send you two novels and two novellas free! You can find that free ebook deal here: Lori’s reader deal.

Oh, and let’s have a contest!!!! I’ll choose a random commenter and send them a signed book in a few days. So comment and tell me if you’ve read any of these books and which ones you haven’t! What could be easier?

  1. I love JM Madden Her LNF series is one of my favorite military series. Robyn Peterman you don’t want to read her books while eating or drinking as you laugh so hard you spit. (She just released audio version and if you listen be careful driving if you listen and drive) Ruth Cardello adore her series, she has a few different ones but my favorite is Lone Star Burn and your books which I’m sitting here thinking which is my favorite and I can’t decide I would have said your Sutton series but I love how your redid your Evers series so I’m leaning towards that. I enjoy Toni Anderson but I only listen to the audio version I for some reason really only enjoy suspense novels if they are in audio form. Guess from years of listening to audio books from the library there wasn’t much selection. I haven’t read the other authors you’ve mention.

  2. Oh ps Robyn is awesome, you do really need to meet her. she is so much fun to hang with in person. I go to hang with Anne Welch, Robyn Peterman, Jennifer and Sharon Hamilton at dinner one night after IRC and you talk about having fun, Anne and Robyn at the same table 🙂
I’m needing to meet Ruth Cardello I haven’t had the chance to do that yet

  3. I love Bev Petterson’s books, they are always interesting and suspenseful with great heroines!
